Data Sources & Licensing Transparency
Market Evidence identifies the source used for current prices and evidence where practical. Availability depends on the deployed configuration and provider entitlements.
Commercial-launch rule: an Application Programming Interface (API) key working technically does not prove commercial display/redistribution rights. Paid access remains fail-closed until each configured provider’s applicable rights are explicitly reviewed and approved.
Market data
- Twelve Data: stock market data and official end-of-day references when configured. Customer-facing commercial use requires an appropriate business/external-display arrangement and may require exchange entitlements.
- Alpha Vantage: optional stock fallback. Commercial market-data use must be confirmed with the provider.
- Massive: optional consolidated U.S. stock source. Commercial/end-user display requires the applicable business/market-data agreement and entitlements.
- CoinGecko: crypto historical/reference data and, by default, CoinGecko Markets current pricing plus provider-sourced global market-cap rank. Commercial plans permit products incorporating Application Programming Interface (API) data subject to plan terms and attribution; raw Application Programming Interface (API) access/data may not be resold as a substitute for the provider service.
- Crypto.com Exchange: exchange-specific public crypto ticker may be used for a venue-specific current-price reference. Commercial display rights must be reviewed before a paid launch.
Official and public evidence
- U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) — Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR): official U.S. public-company filings and structured company facts. Automated access must follow U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Fair Access guidance, including a declared user agent and moderated request rates.
- Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone (GDELT): public reporting discovery when enabled. Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone (GDELT) datasets permit commercial use without a fee, subject to citation/link attribution; underlying publisher content remains subject to its own rights.
- Bluesky / Authenticated Transfer (AT) Protocol: public-conversation context when enabled.
- Brave Search Application Programming Interface (API): web discovery when configured. Search results point to third-party webpages; the Application Programming Interface (API) does not grant rights to republish third-party page content beyond what applicable rights permit.
Market Intelligence Search & Discovery
Evidence Radar searches Market Evidence reports that have already been pulled and indexed locally, including compatible shared asset-report caches. The Discovery engine does not represent that every listed stock or cryptocurrency is covered; the interface reports the number of covered stocks and crypto assets searched for each request. Evidence Match Score is calculated from normalized Market Evidence fields such as Evidence Strength, Data Confidence, historical basis, trend, momentum, completed-period volume, extension/volatility risk, watch windows, source-linked research, public-conversation context, and available Forward Track Record results. Evidence Match Rank is the ordinal position produced after those scores are sorted for the current request. For crypto, Global Market Cap Rank is a separately labeled provider field from CoinGecko and is not used as a synonym for Evidence Match Rank. The interface exposes deterministic component contributions, penalties, missing-data effects, and active search-intent adjustments. These are research-prioritization measures, not Buy/Sell scores or personalized recommendations.
Attribution
Crypto data may include CoinGecko. Data provided by CoinGecko.
News discovery may include data from the Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone (GDELT) Project.
Source hierarchy
Market Evidence ranks verified market data and official sources above reporting/blogs and public conversation context. News and conversation context do not independently determine the core deterministic technical score.
Commercial status
Provider contract status is maintained privately in administrator diagnostics. This page describes source categories and launch controls; it does not represent that a particular commercial license has already been purchased or approved.
